Returns and Refunds
It is our intention to give you a fast, secure and efficient shopping experience and we are sure you will be pleased with your purchase. However if you are unhappy with your purchase let us know within 7 days and we will give you instructions for returning your item/s to us.
Email the following information to admin@chickenshop.co.uk
State your order number and/or name and address.
State reason you want to return items: Didn’t like the product ... It didn’t fit ... Item was damaged ... Wrong item was sent ... Arrived too late.
State if you want a refund or a replacement.
We will then reply to your email and we will issue you with a reference number and an address where you can return the parcel.
If you return the order because you have changed your mind the items must be in a sellable condition, packaging must be intact including inlay card and costumes must not show signs of wear. Items will be checked on their return and if packaging has been severly damaged or items show signs of having been worn they will be returned to you and a refund will not be actioned.
Some items cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons if the package has been opened. See the list at the bottom of the page for more details We suggest that you return your items using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for your own protection. We cannot refund on goods that are not returned to us.
If you are returning the items because you have changed your mind you will be responsible for the shipping costs. You will only be refunded for the cost of the returned items.
If you are returning the items because they are damaged or you have been sent the wrong items you will be refunded in full including the return shipping charge.
We will reply to your email within 7 days with your returns reference number. Within 30 days of us receiving your item you should receive your refund.
We sell some items that cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons if the package has been opened. Items include:
Underwear, stockings, socks, wigs, tashes, beards and other add on hair products, makeup, prosthetics, blood capsules and cosmetics, fake eyelashes, fangs, false teeth and items in blister packs – Once the blister pack has been damaged by opening it the contents are no longer sellable.
This refund policy is only for online sales. Our High street shop has its own refund policy and this is on display in the shop.
